DECORAH, Iowa - The University of Dubuque wrestling team would collect four wins in a tight road battle against the Luther College Norse who won the match 18-13. Carson Sauriol won by an 8-5 decision at 133 lbs.
Zarik Anderson earned the victory at 157 lbs by a decision 6-2.
Luke Radeke wrestling at 165 lbs. would win 8-7, and at 285 lbs.
London Castillo collected the night's only extended point victory, winning by fall in 6:38.
The Spartans will be off until Friday, Feb. 4 when they host the top-ranked Loras College Duhawks in a dual meet at 7:00 p.m. in Stoltz Sports Center. The Spartans are working their way to prepare for the NCAA Lower Midwest Regional hosted at Five Flags Center in Dubuque, Iowa on Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26. The NCAA Division III National Championships will be hosted in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12.
