LINCOLN, Neb. - The University of Dubuque women's basketball team lost the Spartans leading scorer,
Tabria Thomas, who left the game just two minutes into the game after an ankle injury, but UD would hold court and capture the American Rivers Conference by a final score of 66-61.

Allison Bailey stepped up in Thomas's absence and led all scorers with 29 points and a season high 17 rebounds.Bailey was primetime at the free throw line after making 17-20 attempts for the fifth year senior.
Karsen Kershner came off the bench to add 10 points, five rebounds, and four blocks.UD led by as many as 16 points before the host Prairiewolves cut the lead to single digits on outside shooting down the final stretch.
UD made 20-52 attempts from the field (38.5%), 3-14 from the three point area (21.3%), and 23-28 from the free throw line (82.1%). UD forced the hosts into committing 20 turnovers and scored 10 points off the mistakes.
The Spartans will enjoy a week off for finals week and then face Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m.
