PELLA, Iowa - The University of Dubuque football were dominated by the host #9-ranked Central College Dutch on Saturday, in a 56-7 final score. The Spartans lone score happened in the second quarter after they sliced into the Dutch lead 7-28. Central added two more scores before halftime to extend their lead 42-7. The Dutch added another score in the third and a final score in the fourth.
UD was held to 107 yards rushing and 104 yards through the air. The Dutch finished with over 600 total yards (332 yards passing/270 yards rushing) in their victory to extend their unbeaten streak to 9-0 overall and 7-0 in A-R-C play. In 2021, Central has been averaging 58.33 points a game. The Spartans fell to 5-4 overall and 4-3 in A-R-C. UD was led by quarterback
Jacob Keller who was 11-19 for 87 yards and one rushing touchdown.
Nathan Beneke led rushing with seven for 47 yards.
DaMon Street grabbed one pass for 36 yards and
Elliott Pipkin caught five passes for 31 yards.
A trio of Spartans led with 10 tackles on the day.

Casey Larson, and
Dalton Wood all finished with 10 tackles.
Conner Halla punted five times for 162 yards and Jordon Labelle returned two kickoffs for 12 yards.
UD will host the Loras College Duhawks next week on Senior Day/Key City Clash at Chalmers Field with kickoff slated for 1 p.m.
