DUBUQUE, Iowa – Coming off the Thanksgiving holiday, the University of Dubuque women's basketball team was back in action on Saturday afternoon as they hosted the Mount Mary University Blue Angels. The Spartans had the game in hand from the tip as they cruised to the 88-28 victory over the Blue Angels.
The Spartans started the game off firing on all cylinders, shooting 54.5% from the field as they would lead 30-3 at the end of the first quarter. The Spartans would expand their lead in the second period to take a very comfortable 54-9 lead into halftime. In the second half with the big lead, the Spartans would use their bench a lot with continuous rotations coming into the game. The Spartans would end the game with 18 Spartans seeing the court and they all were able to contribute in one way.

Morgan Hawkins coming off the bench and scoring 11 points.
Tabria Thomas,
Isabella Tierney, and Josie Delapp each added 10 for the Spartans.
The Spartans return to American Rivers Conference action in Storm Lake, Iowa next Wednesday, December 1 as they take on the Buena Vista Beavers with tip scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
