DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis would host the Central College Dutch and the Simpson College Storm on Saturday at the Frank Farber Tennis Courts.

UD dropped the opener to Central 0-9 and wouldn't begin the match against Simpson until mid-afternoon. The Storm brought the Storm and play outside would be delayed by over an hour due to lightning in the area before the two teams agreed to finish the match inside the safe confines of the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center. UD would lose part of their starting line-up in doubles play forcing them to shuffle their line-up around in singles play. The Storm captured the match 9-0

UD will host the final three matches of the regular season by hosting the Buena Vista University Beavers on Friday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. before finishing the weekend by hosting the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairiewolves on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. UD will finish play on Tuesday, Oct. 12 by welcoming the Loras College Duhawks before starting the 2021 A-R-C Women's Individual Tourney in Sioux City, Iowa on Oct. 15-16.
