DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis team hosted the Luther Norse on a picture perfect day for tennis on Tuesday afternoon, however, the Spartans were bested 9-0.

The match began with doubles, where in number one doubles, where Alyssa Stevenson and Lauren Colon picked up two games but ultimately fell, 8-2.

In singles, Stevenson battled in the second set, trailing just 4-3, but dropped the next two games to fall 6-0, 6-3. Ta'Dazja Perkins, Kryah Jernigan and Patient Jabbah also each won at least one game, however no one was able to win a set.

The Spartans hit the road for the first time this weekend, traveling to Pella and Indianola on Saturday for a doubleheader against Central and Simpson.
