Brandon Murray

Brandon Murray wrestled collegiately at Iowa Central Community College for two seasons, earning All-American honors twice and a national team championship. He transferred to Loras College, where he earned All-American honors twice for the Duhawks and led his team to a second-place finish in the NCAA Division III National Wrestling Championships in 2019.
 
In 2020 Murray, ranked number one in the nation at 157 lbs., led his team to the top ranking in the nation which included helping his team end Wartburg's 27-year win streak in conference duals and helped the Duhawks to first ever regional tournament championship before his senior season was cut short by COVID-19.
 
Over the course of his career, Murray earned four All-American honors and helped his team finish in the top two of the NCAA Division III National Wrestling Championships on three separate occasions. He is now competing on the senior level and working towards world and Olympic medals.
 
The native of Toms River, N.J., is also a passionate educator. He is excited to share his knowledge and love of wrestling with the next generation of student-athletes. He is committed to helping his wrestlers develop both on and off the mat. He resides in Dubuque.
