University of Dubuque Women’s Basketball Head Coach Justin Smith has announced the addition of Michaela Crall to his coaching staff as an assistant coach in July of 2021.

Crall joins the UD staff after spending two years as Director of Basketball Operations at Missouri State.
 
She hails from Olathe, Kansas and spent her undergraduate years at Wisconsin. After injuries cut her playing career short, she transitioned into an undergraduate coaching role for her final year at Wisconsin. She graduated from Wisconsin in 2017 with a degree in sociology concentrating on analysis and research.
 
After graduating from Wisconsin, she spent two years as a graduate assistant coach at Northwest Missouri State, where she combined the roles of assistant coach and director of operations while earning a Master’s Degree in applied health and sport services in May 2019.
