Andrea joined the UD athletic training staff in the fall of 2018 as a graduate assistant. In 2019, she became a full time staff member. Andrea's sport coverage includes football, wrestling, and softball. Prior to joining the Spartan staff, Andrea worked as an intern athletic trainer at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where her primary sports assignments were women's basketball and outdoor track and field.Â
Andrea earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2017. In 2020, Andrea earned her Master's of Management-Sport Management degree from UD.Â
Andrea is BOC Certified and licensed by the Iowa Board of Athletic Training. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Andrea is certified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (CPR and AED). Graston Technique and Mental Health First Aid are additional certifications Andrea holds.Â
Andrea and her fiance, Adam, live in Marion, Iowa.Â
