University of Dubuque

Coach Schaefer is in his first season with with the Spartans as an assistant coach for cross country and track and field. 

Prior to UD, he attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point where he received his degree in Psychology and Communications and competed in both cross country and track and field. As a multiple All-WIAC participant, Schaefer’s primary events were the 800 and 1500 meters. 

Originally from Lombard, IL, Coach now resides in Dubuque and is pursuing his masters degree in Sport Management.
