DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis team capped off their 2024-25 season with a dual meet loss to the Cornell College Rams on Thursday afternoon by a 6-1 final score on Senior Day. The Spartans won 11 matches this season which was the most victories in a season in over 20 years for second year head coach Chad Fenwick.

The Spartans lone victory was Jayda Floyd at #5 singles who won 6-2, 6-4. Molly Jex at #1 singles fought to two tie breaks, but fell short in a top match among two great competitors 7-6 (8-6), 1-6, 1-0 (10-7). UD ended the season with an 11-8 overall record and a 3-5 American Rivers Conference.
