DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis dropped a dual against the Saint Mary's University Cradinals on Saturday evening in the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center 6-1.

The Spartans earned #2 singles of Adriana Benavente captured the match in dramatic fashion. She won the first set 7-5, lost the second set 6-1, and won the tie-break 10-6. Benavente and her partner Kadia Cole at #2 doubles won 6-4. 

"We were had some tight matches and we were short handed with injuries right now which changed our line-up," said coach Chad Fenwick. The Spartans are off until Spring Break when they travel to Hilton Head, S.C.
