DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis hosted the Saint Mary's University Cardinals in a dual on Saturday in the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center. The Spartans lost to to Cardinals 6-1.

The Spartans lone victory was at #1 singles, Gavin Murrie made quick work of his competitor in straight sets 6-1, 6-1. He and his doubles partner Pedwar Castillo (UDBQM) def. Evan Huemoeller/Gavin Pratt (SMUM) 6-1, but UD would lose the doubles point to SMU.

The Spartans will travel to Mount Vernon, Iowa for a double dual at Cornell College with Coe College providing the second dual meet. Start times are 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
