CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) released the 2025 A-R-C men's soccer postseason honors on Friday morning. University of Dubuque freshman forward Winston Hedvall and senior midfielder Mario Meier earned honorable mention honors for the 2025 season.

Hedvall (Gothenburg, Sweden / Aspero) scored a team-high three goals in eight conference games this season on eight shot on goal attempts. The freshman had a big final two games of the season scoring the Spartans' first goal of the game against Coe that would lead to the Spartans' first conference win of the season. In the season finale, Hedvall scored two goals on three shots to help the Spartans end the season on a high note with a dominating 5-0 victory. 

Meier (Wiesendangen, Switzerland / Technische Berufsschule Zurich) led the Spartans in conference play with seven points (two goals, three assists) as a midfielder. Meier capped off his final season with a goal against the eventual A-R-C champions in the Luther College Norse that forced a 1-1 draw. In the Spartans two-game winning streak to end the season, Meier had four points (one goal, two assists) to finish off what was a career-year for the four-year member of the Spartans.
