MADISON, Wis. - The University of Dubuque men's tennis team opened 2024 with a hard fought road victory over the Edgewood College Eagles by a 5-4 margin.

The Spartans took two of three doubles matches and battled through a tie break in singles to win and capture the match. Ryan Kiddle at #5 singles Dropped the first set 3-6, rallied to win set two 6-1 and forced the tiebreak which he edged out a 15-13 to hand UD the match.

The Spartans will next travel to face the Cornell College Rams on Feb. 17 at 9:00 a.m.at Small Sports Center Arena.
