HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Dubuque men's tennis team lost 2-7 to Bridgewater College in the first match of their spring break trip out East. 

In the doubles matches, the Spartans lost the first two, but picked up a win in #3 doubles as Dawson Freese and Ryan Linkie won 8-4. Pedwar Castillo won #1 singles (6-7, 0-6, 10-7), Rashuan Duck won the opening set in #2 singles, but fell in the final two sets. 

The Spartans will continue their spring break trip at Hilton Head when they face Mount Vernon Nazerene University (Ohio) on Thursday, February 29 at 1:00 p.m. (ET) / 12:00 p.m. (CT).
