Men's Wrestling Earn Two Placewinners in Competitive Concordia University Open

MEQUON, Wis. - The University of Dubuque competed at the 17 team Concordia University (Wis.) Open on Saturday with over 300 wrestlers competing. The Spartans finished with two placewinners. Kale Roth placed sixth at 165 lbs. and Justin Matson was runner-up at 285 lbs.

Alecxander Robeson (184 lbs.) lost in the second round, but fought through the consolation bracket winning four consecutive matches to win. Brett Back (157 lbs.) also lost in the second round, but wrestled five matches to win the consolation bracket.
