DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis team competed their 2022-23 season on Sunday inside the warmth of the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center as light snow fell outside on the Frank Farber Tennis Courts.

The Spartans led at #1 doubles team of Hayden Warner / Abby Drost and would be taken into a tie break, but lost 7-8 (tie break 6-8). The #2 doubles team of Tatiana Ptaszek / Amelia Court lost 0-8. The Spartans would forfeit at #3 doubles.

The #1 singles would stretch on after Hayden Warner kept the match within reach after losing the first set in a 6-7 (tie break 7-9). She led the second set and would lose 4-6. Abby Drost lost #2 singles 1-6, 0-6. Tatiana Ptaszek 0-6, 0-6. At #4 dingles Amelia Court lost 2-6, 1-6. Qi Zhang at #5 singles would lost the set 0-6, 0-6.
