DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis wrapped up their fall 2023 conference season on Saturday against the Buena Viista University Beavers. The Spartans hampered by some key injuries throughout the season was once again battling without #1 singles player Hayden Warner in their final conference meet. UD dropped the match 4-5 .

UD opened the morning matches by collecting wins at #1 doubles (8-2) and #2 doubles (8-0) to lead 2-1 after doubles competition. UD would win at #1 and #2 singles and would lose two tie breaks at #3 and #6 singles to lose the match.

The Spartans will now prepare for the American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament which begins on Friday, Oct. 13 at 8:00 a.m. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and is being hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University.
