DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis dropped a American Rivers Conference dual on Wednesday afternoon to the Wartburg College Knights by a 1-8 margin.

UD won the #1 singles match by Adriana Benavente who won 6-4, 6-3. The Spartans hampered by injuries this fall, displayed another line-up against the Knights and the Spartans have two more A-R-C matches to end the week.

The Spartans host Nebraska Wesleyan University on Friday, Oct. 6 at 4:00 p.m., and finish up the week hosting the Buena Vista University Beavers on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 9:00 a.m. The American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament begins on Friday, Oct. 13 at 8:00 a.m. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and is being hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University.
