Wilder and Beeman Compete in Day Two of NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

GENEVA, Ohio - The University of Dubuque women's track team had two events on day two of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on the campus of SPIRE Institute. Coming off her discus throw event yesterday, Kaitlyn Wilder competed today in the shot put final. Wilder started her day by throwing 13.19 meters in her opening throw. Her best toss would come on her second throw where she threw a mark of 13.67 meters. She would then foul off her final throw. With her best throw of 13.67 meters she would finish the shot put event in 13th place. In the other event for the Spartans, Alison Beeman competed on the track in the 100 meter dash prelims. Beeman would clock 12.09 in the event which placed her 17th overall.
