GENEVA, Ohio - The University of Dubuque women's track and field team participated in day one of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at SPIRE Institute. The Spartans participated in the discus throw, long jump, and the prelims of the 200 meter dash and the 4x100 meter relay.
Alison Beeman in the 200 meter dash prelim ran 24.39 to snag the last spot in the final of the event on Saturday. The 4x100 team also snagged the final spot in the prelim with a ninth place finish after running the relay in 46.98 to make it to Saturday's final.
