GALESBURG, Ill - Saturday's men's tennis match against Monmouth College would be moved inside the Lakeside Recreation Center in a neutral site in Galseburg, Ill. The University of Dubuque Spartans would collect the victory 5-4.
March exiting like a lion has not made playing outside very comforting this spring. The Spartans would lose #1 doubles in a 7-8 final after they lost the tie break 5-7. The Spartans won #2 doubles 8-5 ands won #3 doubles 8-2 to grab an early lead 2-1.
Monmouth would rally to collect wins at #1, #2, and #3 singles as the Spartans captured the match by winning the #4, #5, and #6 singles. The Spartans improved to 3-8 overall and continue their spring schedule on Wednesday, March 30 when they host the Loras College Duhawks on Frank Farber Tennis Courts at 3:30 p.m.
