DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis team would split on Sunday in the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center in their 2022 home opener. The Spartans played host to Lawrence University and UW-La Crosse and the Spartans would win the opener against Lawrence 6-3 before dropping the match against UW-La Crosse 1-8.

The Spartans Milan Zivkovic would end the day with two singles wins at #1 singles and was 1-1 at #1 doubles with partner Stefan Zrnic. Zivkovic would be pushed to a tie break against Lawrence where he won 6-3, 7-6 (7-5 in tie break). UD will travel to face the Carthage College Firebirds and UW-Whitewater Warhawks on Saturday, Feb. 26 beginning at 1 p.m.
