ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The University of Dubuque women's basketball matched up against DePauw University in the consolation game of the 2022 Augustana College Hyatt Place Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans would be upended by a 74-49 final score.
The Spartans would be outscored in three of the four periods in the loss. UD was held t0 11 points in the first period, six in the third period and 11 in the final 10 minutes of play. The second period UD would own a 21-11 advantage.
Tabria Thomas was the lone Spartan to earn All-Tournament team accolades.

Lauren Livingston was the only Spartan to finish in double digit scoring with 14 points after sinking 5-10 shots from the field and 2-4 from beyond the three point arc. The Spartans went 18-51 from the field (35.3%), 4-12 from the three point area, and 9-16 at the free throw line (56.3%). UD scored 22 points in the paint, collected 14 points from the bench players, and was held to just two points off the turnovers by DuPauw.
The Spartans 2-3 overall will travel to Waverly on Tuesday, Nov. 22 to open American Rivers Conference play against the Wartburg College Knights (2-2 overall) at 5:30 p.m. in Levick Arena.
