DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis hosted UW-Stout and Monmouth College on Saturday and the Spartans would split. UD opened with a 0-9 loss to UW-Stout before rallying back and defeating Monmouth 8-1.
UD swept the singles against Monmouth with freshmen
Jordyn Cory, Resse Gottman, and
Regina Kadima all collecting their first collegiate win of the season.
Santa Roman earned the victory at #7 singles by a score of 8-4.
"Overall a great match for us against Monmouth and plenty of learning opportunities from the UW-Stout match," commented head coach
Dishon Deering. "Jordyn fought hard in a tough match against UW-Stout and we will prepare for next week."
