CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's basketball team bounced back from a heartbreaking loss on Saturday with a 65-55 road win at Coe College. The game was a defensive battle as neither team shot above 40%, but with the score all square at 44 all entering the fourth quarter, the Spartans would outscore the Kohawks 24-14 in the fourth quarter to pull away from the win. The Spartans move to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in conference play, while Coe falls to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the A-R-C.
Three Spartans reached double figures in points, led by
Tabria Thomas with 13 points, going 9-10 from the free throw line while also grabbing seven rebounds, blocking two shots and grabbing four steals.
