Men's Tennis Drop Road Opener to Rams 2-7

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis team opened their 2020-21 season on the road against non-conference opponent the Cornell College Rams and dropped the match by a score of 2-7.

The Spartans Zach Normal would capture the #5 singles by a 6-3, 6-0 final over the Rams Michael Coester. He teamed up in #3 doubles with Maxwell Flaten and the pair would win the doubles match over Cornell's Michael Coester/Bryce Fincher by a 8-5 margin. UD's Sincere Davis would also get the win in an unattached match at #7 singles with an 8-0 victory Ravi Parekh.
