Founded in 1898, the Dubuque Golf and Country Club is one of a very select few private country clubs west of the Mississippi that are over 120 years old.

Located in the rolling hills of Dubuque, just two miles west of the mighty Mississippi, the Dubuque Golf and Country Club is the premier hospitality and social center of the city. We are here to provide all the amenities you would expect from a private country club.

The Club features a challenging golf course that is immaculately groomed, along with a modern driving range, putting and chipping green, and a fully stocked pro shop.

The 18-hole, par 70 championship course plays to a total of 6,000 yards requiring precision shots and skilled course management. The watered fairways, deep rough, and hazardous sand traps provide a course rating from the blue tees of 70.3 and a slope of 125. Our greens challenge the experienced golfer and our multiple tee areas ensure enjoyable, playable rounds for golfers of every skill level.

The Club also offers full-service practice facilities. A state of the art driving range allows golfers to warm up before hitting the links. The pitching and putting greens allow golfers to fine tune their short game skills.

Golf or tennis shoes must be worn at all times. Metal spikes are not allowed on the golf course. Replacement spikes are available; please permit adequate time before play to allow for replacement.

The following dress code, for both Adults and Juniors, is in effect from April 15 through September 15 and applies to the golf course, putting green and driving range. Those in violation of the dress code will not be allowed access to these areas.

Ladies/Girls: Shirts with or without sleeves, dresses, Bermuda shorts, culottes, slacks and Capri pants are permitted. Blue jeans, sweatpants, short shorts, halter tops, tank tops, and swimming attire are prohibited.

Men/Boys: Shirts with sleeves and collars or mock-neck shirts, Bermuda shorts or slacks are permitted. Blue jeans, sweatpants, swimming attire, tank tops, athletic shorts, T-shirts and jogging shorts are prohibited.
