Seymour is a Dubuque, Iowa native and prepped at Dubuque Senior High school.
Following high school, Seymour attended Drake University where he majored in Kinesiology. While at Drake University, he was a three year starter and an All-Conference corner-back on the football team. During his studies at Drake, Seymour obtained his USAW L1 coaching certification and began working with and training youth athletes across a multitude of sports.
After his graduation in 2020, Seymour partnered with his older brother Andrew in Des Moines building out their personal training business under Seymour Health & Fitness.
They focused on a wide range of athletes in youth, high school, and college level sports, which included, baseball, volleyball, football, swimming, tennis, track & field and soccer. Other clientele focused on general overall physical fitness and routines for better health choices. These training services were offered in both a group and individual settings.
Seymour’s coaching and training efforts were recognized in 2022, as he was voted Des Moines’ Best Local Personal Trainer. Because of his efforts in the Des Moines metro area, Seymour has been asked to help support various sport camps and programs sponsored by area professional athletes in both football and baseball.
Seymour earned his Masters of Science degree in Health Science with a Sports Performance concentration from Rocky Mountain University and has obtained his CSCS certification.
