DUBUQUE, Iowa - The postseason is finally here for the University of Dubuque track & field team as they head to Luther College for the 2023 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Outdoor Track & Field Championships. On the men's side, the Spartans will be looking to defend their conference title from a season ago which was their first outdoor conference title in 61 years and 12th in school history. Luther College will be hosting one of the top Division III Outdoor Track & Field meets in the nation May 11-13. The nine American Rivers Conference schools will make their way to Carlson Stadium to compete for a conference championship.
On the men's side, the Spartans currently hold the top times in seven events in the A-R-C.
Blake Hardison comes in with the top time in the 110 meter hurdles,
Jaidyn Williams in the triple jump,
Cade Collier in the shot put and discus throw,
Blake Sturgis in the javelin throw, and the 4x100 & 4x400 meter relay teams. For the women, the Spartans hold the top three times in the A-R-C with
Emma Seipel in the long jump and
Kaitlyn Wilder leading in the shot put and hammer throw.
